Section 35: Brother rapes sister and son rapes mother

Yes, these things happened, except in (b) Absalom did not sleep with his own mother Maakah who was the wife of King David – so no incest took place. Both incidents were an abomination before the Lord. What does Deedat want? Does he want the Bible to pretend these things did not happen? The Bible tells it as it is – the good and the bad. Ironically Islam’s Quran and the Hadith have their own share of bad deeds such as the marriage of Muhammad to a six year old, the marriage to his own daughter-in-law, Zainab, and having sex with slaves (even if they are already married), but instead of considering them as bad deeds, Islam promotes them as an example of what is permissible.
