In section 9 for points (a) and (b) we have to say what is your point Mr Deedat? Yes David sinned (like everyone else apart from Jesus) and God judged him for it very severely and he had to flee from his palace while being pursued by his own son. No one is justifying his behaviour and God is certainly not, so again, what is your point Mr Deedat? The moral for us is this, that David had a heart after God but even he sinned, and if God can forgive him for such an awful sin, then we know that God can and does forgive us our sins.
In point (c) which is from 2 Samuel 6:14 we read in verse 14 “Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might,”. So we see he was not naked. He had just stripped down to a linen garment which is a picture of purity in the Bible.
